Founder & CEO of Fresh Accounting
Ricky brings with him a wealth of experience in the construction, retail, automotive industries, as well as taxation and operational expertise. He has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for helping business owners achieve their financial goals.
Prior to founding Fresh Accounting, Ricky worked in the private enterprise group at EY, where he led audit teams that supported medium to large private companies with financial reporting. He also worked in executive roles in the construction and automotive industries where he reshaped internal financial and operational processes. He also continues to provide fractional CFO services to a few rapidly growing start-ups.
Ricky holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and has been a Chartered Professional Accountant (legacy Chartered Accountant) since 2011.
Away from work, you can find Ricky on the golf course, the ski hill, the ice rink and in nature enjoying the best camping, hunting and fishing B.C. has to offer.
Stella Hong achieved her designation from the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from China. With over 15 years of experience in public practice, including big four accounting firms and multi-national corporations, she brings a wealth of simple to complex accounting, advisory and tax experience. She is very passionate about helping small business owners achieve success by ensuring continuous support. With her multidisciplinary and multicultural expertise, your accounting, advisory and tax will be in great hands.
Crystal had gained over 20 years of financial experience in roles such as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Finance in world leading national and multi-national companies in her home country. Being an entrepreneur herself, she understands the grind that small business owners have to go through to succeed. She completed a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) from a prestigious university in China and Certification from Harvard Business School. She brings a proven track record of being a successful leader with a wealth of experience and knowledge to Fresh Accounting in an Accounting and Advisory role.
When she is not working on the numbers, you can find Crystal going fishing, hunting in northern Saskatchewan.
